Well, we ventured out early this morning to pick up some furry friends and new family members for the Thornbrough zoo. lol! We've been wanting to get a smaller dog to have inside and to be able to cuddle with. We've learned from the past, that having a pair works great because they keep each other company and you have less chewing and less boredom for them.
I told Jonathan I really, really, really wanted dogs that don't shed! I hate dog hair everywhere! The next thing I really, really wanted were house trained dogs. I'm in the process of training the babies to go in the toilet, I really don't want to work on the dogs too :(
I'm hoping we have found the perfect dogs for us. Their breed is Cairn Terrier (remember Toto from 'The Wizard of Oz', that's what we have). The shed little to none, and they're 3 years old, and are house broken. It'll take some adjusting to our family and we expect some accidents, just from being out of their comfort zone, but we're hopeful!
They have very sweet dispositions and are very lovable. Their faces are really cute. The boys are so excited to have new playmates and we're looking forward to new adventures with our family of 8 :)
By the way, the little one is a girl, named Lilbit and the bigger one is a boy named Bandit.
